The residents got together for a card game. Five card draw was the game. Ryan, our maintenance man, was the dealer. The first game had so much fun, the group forgot about time. The game lasted three hours and the grand prize was $20 donated by staff. In the second game, it was a $10 gift card to Sonic. We do not tell the residents what the prize is until they win the pot. For participating, the rest of the players choose from a variety of prizes in our activities prize box which includes things like hygiene products, notebooks, markers and pens.
