We had fun on Cinco do Mayo with a variety of Mexican traditions. As you can see, Resident Patti took a swing at the piñata...and a back swing, too. Residents Mark and Anna took their swings with blindfolds on. Activities Director Jessica and Maintenance Man Bill added to the challenge by keeping the piñata moving. Staff and residents enjoyed watching senoritas and mariachis dance and sing. We also had some new foods for our residents to try. They included horchata, Mexican pop, chili gummies and Mexican peanut butter candy. And for added fun, we donned sombreros and mustaches we made in crafts.
