BBQ Season Finale Was A Hit

BBQ season is coming to an end. We picked a perfect day to host the season finale before the winter weather sets in. It was a beautiful sunny day for the residents of our Elm facility to visit Centennial Park (Duck Park) in Cañon City. We all played bags game and it was so pretty to watch the geese swim around the water fountain in the pond.

Our new Daily Operations Manager Jeff Pilgrim is the master chef today, grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. Our head cooks, Autumn and Angela, did an excellent job with providing specific meals for those that need gluten free (pictured).

Our Cedar facility also had a BBQ and we really enjoyed watching everyone playing bags. They were really surprised how well they did. However, our Activities Director Merry says she always had faith in their abilities!
