We have found that a simple putting game has a lot of benefits. First of all, it is an activity just about everyone can do, and is willing to try. So participation is high. It is easy for caregivers to organize and oversee. The game that allows for quick, easy repetition. Missed, try again. So a participant can have multiple opportunities to improve the hand-eye coordination, their shot and their success. It is interesting for others to watch and results are readily apparent. It allows for self-improvement and friendly (hopefully) competition. And on this day, it led to a tasty iced coffee treat for everyone.
